Conversely, you may prefer to visit one of our floating fuel docks conveniently located along the Intracoastal Waterway and New River.
 
SERVICE: ... is what its all about and that's what our professional, U.S.C.G. licensed, fuel tenders provide. While the average marina and/or truck pump diesel at a rate of 25 gallons per minute, we pump at up to 225 gallons per minute, saving your precious and valuable time.
 
QUALITY: ... With direct delivery of fuel from the Ft Lauderdale Tank farm, our suppliers provide Peterson Fuel with certified-high quality, fresh, clean, fuel daily. Our fuel is not stored for long periods of time in underground fuel tanks, as in most marinas, awaiting delivery. We offer fuel samples and dated specification sheets upon request. Another cornerstone of our operation is our equipment. Our oldest "Tankship" was constructed in 2002 and our newest was delivered in 2007. Our vessels are maintained to the highest standards with vigorous yearly certification inspections by the United States Coast Guard. We are committed to delivering quality fuel with quality equipment.
 
EXPERIENCE: ... Peterson Fuel Captains all hold current USCG Masters Licenses with a minimum of 5 years experience and in excess of 1 year of sea time. They have all completed courses in shipboard firefighting and first aid, and must undergo quarterly and annual training in fuel spill prevention, clean-up and vessel/port security. Additionally, all Captains are required to carry Master Mariner Documents (MMD cards) with the minimum of a "Tankerman-restricted" endorsement, however most are qualified as "Tankerman-PIC". A minimum of 90 days of actual deck time and training are required for this endorsement. Peterson Fuel Delivery personnel are highly experienced, highly qualified, and highly motivated individuals.

Peterson Fuel is proud to be able to offer our fuel at a substantial discount to the price of fuel at fuel docks and marinas, sometimes by as much as $1.00 per gallon! Our pricing is competitive with tank trucks, and avoids marina fees in many areas. We are able to offer these prices due to the large volume of fuel we deliver, coupled with our ability to price fuel daily as a result of our continual reloading of our "Tankships". Additionally, vessels preparing for International voyages may be exempt from State taxes, offering even further savings. But that is not the full story.
